If ever in Escalante you need to stay here. Yurts were very modern and clean. Nice place to relax after a very long hike. The people running the place were very nice and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Great recommendations for food and what to see. The location was out of town but not to much making it an ideal location. The facilities boasted out door shaded swings, a camp fire pit, and grills. Would strongly recommend!

Very comfortable, quiet, well appointed, pleasant outdoor surroundings. Birch Yurt seemed brand new. Gracious and hospitable host. Will return when next in Escalante. Thanks.

Scott and Jan are wonderful hosts. The daily breakfast was delicious. The Yurts were cool, and the Cottonwood had ample space for 4 old guys to get together for outdoor adventures. The stars at night are absolutely beautiful.

This was our first time staying at the Escalante Yurts. Jan and Scott are awesome! Our yurt was very clean and they provided us snacks, drinks, and breakfast muffins! We would highly recommend this place. Great location for all the hiking we did!!

Seriously one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed in the Willow yurt and all the accommodations were so lovely. The place was clean, inviting, and the owners even came back to the site after hours when we needed something small with no hesitation. My sister still is talking about how comfortable the king bed was. I specifically loved the swinging chairs by the office. Just really overall a lovely place to stay. Book this place if you can!!

I wish I could give Escalante Yurts more than 5 stars because our stay here was absolutely that fabulous! The yurts are very comfortable and have everything you need. After a long day of hiking, it's wonderful to be able to come back to an air conditioned yurt, take a shower and relax. Our grandson wanted to go camping but we weren't keen on sleeping in a tent so we agreed to "glamp" as a compromise. We stayed in the Elm and there is an outdoor shower (great water pressure) and my grandson really got a kick out of that. We roasted S'mores and hot dogs at one of the fire pits and hung out on the tree swing so he was satisfied with his "camping" experience. The yurt has everything you need and is very inviting and cozy inside. Having breakfast provided the afternoon before was a huge plus for us because we were on the trails by 6 am and the food was fantastic. The property was fully booked the weekend we were there, but it didn't feel crowded at all and we had quite a bit of privacy. We'll definitely be returning for another stay and I can't wait!

Ever stay in a yurt? No? Us, too! Escalante Yurt is a great place to stay near town. The space and setup were great. Indoor and outdoor showers was a nice extra. There's a common area with hammocks, firepits (firewood provided), and camp entertainment. The yurt was large enough to accommodate the four of us (two boys 13-15). The place was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the experience and would do it again.
